Eisbock - The legendary beer style discovered by accident
Its special feature: the ice maturation, during which bock beer is frozen and the ice core is removed. A strong essence of the beer is then retained. Its fiery red color reflects the warmth that spreads when enjoying the special bock. Fruity nuances meet a mild malt note with a high alcohol content of 13%. Certainly a pleasure as a gift.
Tasting: In the glass, the Golden Deer is reminiscent of fiery dark amber. The ice maturation creates a strong, particularly mature taste. Wild berry aromas are combined with mild malt and a subtle hop note.
Culinary tips: The Golden Deer Eisbock is an excellent dessert beer. Thanks to its strong alcohol content and the berry sweetness, it is drunk in short sips e.g. with a Christmas panna cotta with mulled wine and cherry topping.
